The days are zooming by and we are almost into the middle of the second quarter, mashAllah! Progress reports will be coming home next week, inshaAllah. Please log into Sycamore regularly to check your child’s progress. 

 

As you are aware, the MAGR/IQRA fundraiser was rescheduled to Saturday, December 9, inshaAllah.  Students are busy preparing for it and are excited about their presentations. The event starts at 5:30 but please bring your children at 5:00 so that they may rehearse before the presentations. Due to the rescheduling of the fundraiser,  Islamic Studies Night has also been moved to a night in February. We will be sharing more details as we come closer to that date. 

 

RRSP (Rockford Refugee Support Program) is working on their next initiative. This time they are holding a winter apparel drive and are requesting families to donate new or gently used winter coats, jackets, boots, mittens, and other winter clothes. Of course, Iqra School will support this program and we have placed a large bin next to the front office for the collection of these items. تمر الأيام ونحن على أبواب منتصف الربع الثاني، ما شاء الله!
وستصل تقارير التقدم الأسبوع القادم إن شاء الله. يرجى تسجيل الدخول إلى Sycamore بانتظام للتحقق من تقدم طفلك.

 

كما تعلمون، تم إعادة جدولة حملة جمع التبرعات MAGR/IQRA إلى السبت 9 ديسمبر إن شاء الله. الطلاب مشغولون بالتحضير لذلك ومتحمسون لعروضهم التقديمية. يبدأ الحدث في الساعة 5:30 ولكن يرجى إحضار أطفالك في الساعة 5:00 حتى يتمكنوا من التدرب قبل العروض التقديمية. ونظرًا لإعادة جدولة حفل جمع التبرعات، تم أيضًا نقل ليلة الدراسات الإسلامية إلى ليلة في شهر فبراير. سنشارك المزيد من التفاصيل مع اقترابنا من ذلك التاريخ.

 

يعمل RRSP (برنامج روكفورد لدعم اللاجئين) على مبادرته التالية. هذه المرة يعقدون حملة للملابس الشتوية ويطلبون من العائلات التبرع بالمعاطف الشتوية الجديدة أو المستعملة بلطف، والسترات، والأحذية، والقفازات، وغيرها من الملابس الشتوية. بالطبع، ستدعم مدرسة اقرأ هذا البرنامج وقد وضعنا صندوقًا كبيرًا بجوار المكتب الأمامي لجمع هذه العناصر. يرجى التمرير لأسفل النشرة الإخبارية للحصول على نشرة إعلانية ومزيد من المعلومات.
